One of the best runs in the North?
 

ok this one will split the Northern org
I was on a run on Saturday 31st July 2010 with me mate, this is the run we ended up on through an accident (biker down outside of Otterburn :().

1. Heddon on the Wall to Chollerford
2. Chollerford to the A696
3. A696 to Otterburn and onto Carter Bar
4. Carter Bar to Jedburgh
5. Jedbrugh to Kelso and onward to Coldstream
6. Coldstream down the A697 to Morpeth
7. A1 to Newcastle

Total 160 miles 4.5 Hours (not pushing it and about 1 hour of breaks)

What you think of this run?, or is there a even better bimble to be had :riding:

Its a brilliant run but coz its well known you've got to watch your speed - it's well policed.

we didn't see any police all day except for otterburn, and the one I nearly ran over when he stepped out not looking.

Gastos past Carter bar were just stupid 3 in 10 miles

This is a regular run for me and I love it. If you turn left instead of right at the A697 and go north to remeet the A68 theres even more Gastsos. Was on the A68 going north from carter Bar on Sunday at the second north facing gastso tried to warn a car (in front of me by flashing lights) about to overtake the car in front of him, he gave me two fingers overtook and got flashed. Well I tried. We are truely blessed here with some fantastic routes and this is but one.

I did nearly turn off at morpeth and cut through 2 stamfordham and through 2 the military rd
