fuel injectors not priming and clicking noise when riding
 

recently the fuel injectors are often not priming when the ignition is turned on leading to the fi warning light flashing, usually after a quick 'off then on' of the ignition this sorts itself, however, today it took about 10 attempts to get them to prime and once i got going i noticed a noise similar to a clicking coming from the general fi area

any ideas as to the problem/s and whether they are related?

Lift the tank, Check the cable / connectors to the fuel pump etc are fully connected and there is no kinks or chaffage anywhere, sounds like it could be intermittent electrical.
