Right so this new series was a grand total of 6 episodes.
They are now showing the 'best bits' which will be 4 episodes.

What a load of tosh.

They are told by the BBC how long they are to make each series, and then given a budget... So its not actually up to Clarkson or TopGear execs how long each series is to be.... Apparently

If that's true then the BBC are just raping us of awesome

I think it's an awesome show, 360,000,000 people can't be wrong haha, but I think the beeb need to up the budget to let them make more, it needs to be done

I think that, if you look at the features this year, good as they have been, there's been some budget slashing going on.

But yes. 6 episodes of a 'flagship' BBC show.

Poor show, I call it.

That's British TV for you though isn't it, Red Dwarf and Blackadder and all the rest were all only six episodes per series weren't they?

Hence the joke in the Simpsons when the PBS channel was showing the hit British comedy 'Do Shut Up', it's the UK's longest running sitcom, 9 episodes!
