Bunch of guys on Essex bikers are meeting at 127 Diner 19:00... going for a poodle down to Burnham and so on (ride say 1 1/2 hours overall with a stop) and getting back to the Diner for china wag and food...

Mmmn Clarky - this is an EB meet and ride, so will be attended by EB'ers, many of whom may not quite get on with the org style of riding and stuff.

Might be different if it were an 127mcc thing.

what is the org style of riding? or should I say what is the eb / 127mcc type thing?

Well now Pookie, that's not an easy question to answer.

The main thing, as was highlighted yesterday on Jo's ride, was that it makes for a happy ride if people know beforehand what everyone's riding style is. I don't mean lots of verbal descriptions beforehand, but that degree of knowledge and understanding that comes from riding with the same group of people for a while and understanding how that group works. New people can join such groups easily in ones or twos but not so well as two largish established groups.
Now, it goes without saying that some people's styles wil necessarily match with anothers or indeed clash. Much depends on the attitudes of those riding. I've ridden with the org, with EB and wit 127. If any two groups are not going to get on in riding style it will be the org and EB.
Sorry Clarky. Not even sure if 127 and the org would always work either

I've been out with some of the EB lot. I've also been out with some of the 'not really EB lot but I'll hang around with them and ride like idiots lot' and to be honest, I can't be bothered with it.

Quite often, I come down to see a couple of the people, but I don't know how accomodating they can be to a group of unknown people who want to do their own thing.

So I'm afraid, It's a very long winded no from me too.

I thought the SV Org style was for Sal to get 'lost' with a couple of handsome 20 year olds - I must get her to teach me how to do that ;)
