hiflofiltro

Just, picked up some oil and a new filter for the SV. The guy in the shop said this is a correct filter for the bike. But i have never heard of it before. Its called HifloFiltro. Packaging says its up to/better than OE standards.
Opinions? Good/Bad? Should i use it or should i go out and get a suzuki oil filter?
Cheers

I've seen them before, but never used them

Should be fine. Most filters will be made in one big factory and supplied to all the major bike makers, but with their name on it

Don't blame me if it goes bang :p

But seriously, I think Wemoto sell them, so they must be ok

I remember that you used to be able to buy oil filters for Ducati Pantah's at Halfords, because the same filter was also fitted to a Renault, and about 2/3 the price of the Ducati OEM part

All you need to do is check that the oil presure light goes out, after you've done the oil change as reasurance that you've got correct oil presure
