Re: Dorset Naga!!!
I've grown the Bhut Jolokia, which is a very similar scoville rating. Mind numbingly hot! Please take care with thos Dorest's, they are close to getting the record for the hottest ever. Don't even touch them with bare hands.
Coincidentally, it was the Bolton food Festival this weekend, I have eaten more murderously hot chilli things today than ever! One guy really caught my attention, he has made a 6.2 million scoville unit sauce. He's none for sale because he is shipping the entire years supply (He's a one man operation) to the lads and lasses in Afganistan FOR FREE! The sauce is only in tiny bottles and a mate of his is making containers shaped like hand grenades to put it in. He had a tiny taster pot, I tried it. Now, Im a confirnmed chilli head. I like it hot. But this stuff... Holy mother of all that is spicy! Never again. The chilli rush was immense! Go easy with those peppers. Pete ;) |

Best to put these in a top box and not travel home with them tucked inside your pants for safe transportation I reckon.

Re: Dorset Naga!!!
Scoth Bonnet's and bird's eyes are my limit, tried ½ a Bhut Jokia or wharever they're called last year.
The pain was crippling. |
