Did it this morning, and stopped off in Chop Gate at the pub with the "bikers welcome" sign.

Really nice welcome.

take it you still had your lid on cos seriously they would have to be ridiculasly welcoming to be nice after seeing a mug like yours :)

Yeah good band of blacktop that, where did you start/finish? The route into Helmsley from York a nice warm up for the stoaksly road.
(all spelt wronger than wrong but you know what I mean).

From Osmotherly to Hawnby, and picked up the TT route just north of Helmsley.
