Reckon it'd be possible to ratchet strap an Abba superbike stand to my SRAD?

No problem imho, it breaks down into two parts that can be strapped to the rack, although you will have a long-ish bar pointing up. Want me to go measure it?

It is an L-shaped device measuring 66x65cm, plus the sliding arm you can take off that is about 50cm. It is made of 40mm box section steel at a guess (forgot to measure) and weighs less than 5KG.

It weighs 6.85kg, but there is about 30kg of parcel tape on it too!

It is quite well wrapped in carboard so may be less awkward to strap down than it would be naked, if you intend to strip the cardboard take a knife with you...

Yeah it will be fine, couple of bungees does it. I've carried one several times.

Undo all the spinny bits, or wind the bungees round them so they don't disappear.

Also, does anyone know the size of the grub screw which secures the straight leg to the L-shaped leg of the abba stand? Not sure whether it fell out or was in the packaging but I need one..
