Burning of the Qur'an.

Anyone find this rather comical?

Islamic countries are allowed to burn nations flags, create violence in demonstrations, bomb nations and innocent civilians (no comment on the USA's forces, not about the war this!!), but when one measly god dude threatens to burn some paper, they go absolutely mental.

I've jsut updated my facebook. Anyone fancy a mass holy book burning session and uploading the footage to youtube.

Mass hysteria, would be epic... Mind you, might come home, to find rubble and two dead rabbits :smt120

hummahhummahuuuuummmmmaaa :smt109

Any religious folk who may get upset by this, meh, get of the interwebz, its banter.....

Must be a slow news week...I do understand in some ways that it could potentially put their troops in further danger...

Im not religious but Im still smart enough to know that burning a religious book of another faith is always gonna cause the preverbeal to hit the fan.

This guys just out for his 15minutes of fame, either that or got a really good deal on his home insurance and is hoping for the inevitbale back lash.

Care to give us some examples of countries currently doing this?

(The USA excepted of course, they're not an Islamic nation)

For the same reason why I never watch, I miss some stuff but if its good someone at work will tell me everything I need to know. The rest of it just makes you think "what a horrid world we live in"

To be fair I don't think it is the countries doing it, but rather some of the citizens . The guy doing the burning typifies the lack of religious tolerance that causes half the problems to begin with - Pastor Numbnuts is his name. Burning a flag/book only upsets you if you let it...
