Sunday 19th September 2010 - Ride!

This is the final route people...

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&so...34589&t=h&z=10

Not a huge number of miles so should appeal to most, especially if people are doing another 60-90 miles on top coming from Stockport/Southport areas etc.

The start time is 10am at Chester Services (M56). Before leaving the services can you please make sure they have enough fuel to cover 85 miles to the next planned fuel stop.

Plan of action is this:

# Start/Finish at {A/F} Chester Services.

# Head to A & D Motorcycles {B} at Denbigh. There is a cafe for some breakfast if wanted.

# Make our way to Trawsfynydd via Betws-y-Coed. It will be busy in Betws-y-Coed but we can stop if people want to. Fuel available if anyone is desperate.

# Fill up at the Total {C} in Trawsfynydd.

# Go to the Rhug Organic Farm for a bite to eat. Bison burgers are yummy! On the way, after a long sweeping right hand corner which goes round a lake (Llyn Celyn) there is a place to pull in at the end of the lake if anyone wants photos.

# Once food has been consumed head up to the Ponderosa Cafe. Do the horseshoe pass down... and then back up again.

# Head home! I'll be going back to Chester Services, feel free to tell someone and peel off where best for you to get home.

This is not (as it would appear) a set in stone list of stops, so if people want to stop and take photos, go into Bala for whatever reason. Or anything like that shout up when we're in a group and discuss/suggest.

Only the one planned fuel stop. Which is pretty much right in the middle of the run if you were to do the whole thing. If you can do 100 miles on a full tank you'll be more than fine.

Edit: Route was changed because of a MTB event in Ruthin which could cause delays/issues. The roads I've pulled out can be done another time :)

I'm riding in the Ruthin round of the ChainReaction MTB Marathon that day, so won't be able to come.

Have a great ride.

I've said yes because it'd be great to meet you guys and if the weather co-operates i'll be playing out :riding:

If not then i'll be sitting in a pub watching Utd vs L'pool

Chester services for 10 sounds good to me :)
