Goldfren brake pads?
morning all,
For an '02 curvy... My front pads are getting low and brake lever is cr@p, despite no seizure on calipers, so think of switching to some HH pads... So I was just wondering what experience people have had with switching front pads? cheers :) |
Re: Goldfren brake pads???
I've recently fitted these to the front.
I read quite a few reviews saying they did not provide a great deal of "feel" and "bite" but there's also quite a few that swear by them and they are very well priced. Before I changed to Goldfren my front brakes didn't promote much confidence in my riding, they just didn't seem to grip enough but saying that they had been on quite a while and were due a change. I've tried quite a few more expensive brands in the past on bikes; Brembo, EBC etc but I'm more than happy with the Goldfrens I now have on the curvy. Great for the money. |
Re: Goldfren brake pads???
I use Goldfen on my Trackbike works well with GSXR brakes and wavy disks

Re: Goldfren brake pads???
used them on stadard sv calipers and were fine, and seem to be ok on the brembo's although disc's are warped so not 100% how good they are yet

Re: Goldfren brake pads???
these are the pads i've used ever since i got my Fazer 2.5 years ago, and I will admit I got them because they were well priced, but I have been very happy with them hence using them ever since.
