Under-fork spigot paddock stand

Are these available for the pointy sv650?

If so who makes them & where would I be able to buy one ?

Also as they state they Are bike specific is thier any bikes that share fork measurements for the spigots to mount into ?

Many thanks for your knowledge yet again :)

Not sure what you mean by under fork spigot

Paddock stands that fit under the fork bottoms are universal. Paddock stands for the headset like this come with spigots of various diameters for different bikes.

Do you mean a headstock stand? The little spigot that fits into the hole in the lower yoke on the forks?

If so - yes, most companies will. And most will give options as to what size hole you need, although I believe all/most suzukis are the same. Don't quote me on that though.

But they definitely exist. Personally I prefer using front paddock stands but headstock stands are still reliable.

No under fork like this
http://www.intobikes.co.uk/products/...SXR750-K7_2007

I borrowed a mates universal front padock stand & the forks kept slipping off :( a friend of mine has one of these for his sp2 as he does plenty of track days & thier so easy to use/stable :)

If not will look into gettin hedstock type :(

I think the headstock type is better.

I've used one of these paddock stands for years.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Champion-Front...item335cd39e16

It has pins that locate into the bottom of the forks so once it's up it's pretty stable. Still use it on the Duke. Just had to 'spread' the legs to re-fit the different forks. Downside is that you can't drop the forks out or adjust the head bearings as you can with an under yoke stand.

Re: Under-fork spigot paddock stand

I tried one on the sv once. Took it back when found I'd have to file down one spigot so it didnt interfere with the pinch bolt in the bottom of the fork. either that or completely remove the pinch bolt every time. I've found the head stock one much better.

Edit: mine might not have been bike specific though. It was at a race meeting so choice was a bit limited.

I have these - go to ebay.es - each stand comes with 3 sets of adapters - they are reasonably priced and pretty good quality
