Tips on how to re-condition leather?
Having a clearout at work and I've just found my old leather lounger - me and my flat mate bought one each when we were absolutely blasted one saturday evening...
It's had about 4 months of daily useage (xbox, films, occaisional bit of sleep) before he joined the RAF and I moved in with another mate who banned the lounger in favor of a proper sofa. Apart from that it's just been collecting dust, so is there a way to re-condition the leather and make it look a bit less tired? This is going on ebay shortly unless anyone on here is interested ;) thanks in advance http://lh5.ggpht.com/_c5nU_S1VtbY/TK...%20lounge.jpeg |

Buy some leather cleaner or leather cleaner wipes and give it going over with that. You can get them in most supermarkets, the ones for cleaning leather sofas with. Failing that wipe it over with babywipes.

Paul, my mate recons ferrari, lambos etc along with waxing them etc and they have done some amazing refurbs from seats that looked ready for the scrap heap.
I can ask him if i can pass on his emal address to you to advise you, hes a good bloke who is actually registered on here. 1210tech i think his forum name is. |
Re: Tips on how to re-condition leather?
if it's a product which can be picked up for a couple of quid and used by a domestic numpty like me then go for it :) the lounger is on eBay so just wanted to make it look brand new (it's only had a bit of dust on it which has made the leather look slightly faded)

Re: Tips on how to re-condition leather?
Paul, the leather wipes will get that off. Our leather sofa at home gets dirty because the dogs jump on it and the wipes bring that up nice and shiney so I'd try that first TBH.
