HP computers?
ive got acess to a 25% discount on everything hp
so techy geeks are they any good, or should i go for something else im wanting a tower to hook up to a big ass tv in the lounge , and poss a laptop for she who must be obeyed one last point SPEAK ENGLISH NOT TECHY BABBLE |

Nothing wrong with HP. Good reliable machines that are well designed and built. I've used them at work for years with no problems.
Personally speaking, for home use I'd still go with Apple though. |

I'll only either buy HP or Compaq.
We've been using them where I work for the 10 1/2 years I've been there and never had any major problems or issues with them. |

I use HP for my work pc, media station and leech, erm storage pc ;)

my compaq laptop has a screwed hhd, it over heated from the heat from a laptop running for 14 hours none stop in the states, but so did my acer so i dont know what to recommend any more.

I've had the same HP laptop (G5000) for 5 years with literally no problems, they're excellent.
