How would you market me?
 

I have to find a USP for me!

My publisher wants me to think about what I have that will make me stand out or help them to market me should I do any TV appearances in the run up to the book launch. She said, "each tv chef has their own handle, think about what yours would be".

Well, lets see...

I have big boobs and curves - Nigella has done that one
I am a biker - Si and Dave have done that one
I am not a trained chef - loads of TV chefs have done that one

I am really stick folks. So, for those of you who know me...how would you market me???

Be as honest as you want, I am past the point of caring now ;-)

Oh - the book is based around making great tasting, healthy and balanced meals affordable and accesible for all. Basically a real way of showing home cooks how to get the best value for money when shopping and cooking.

But seriously, why not market yourself as the TV chef who isn't a TV chef? Without wanting to be rude you're not the typical celeb, you're sensible for a start, if your food is good honest stuff then market yourself as such:cool:

Cpt. Awesome - I thought that, just wonder if it's a bit boring. It's not like I've done anything to deserve getting a book deal, let alone anything else. I've done business, not food.

Well, maybe I could use that? In business you want return on your investment for better profit. At home you want ROI for better value???
