Wets

Im looking for a pair of wets for next season, can you recomend a supplier please?
I used Merzeler's on my 600, big block type. They are good but not tried any other brand so open to suggestion..

Cheers

Re: Wets

I always used Dunlops and found them fantasic, never lost a wet race in 2 years !

125/80 Front and 160/60 rear.
Front has a flat profile rather than pointed so feels a bit harder to turn but my god, is like on rails when you do. Superb.

KR191 front tread pattern. Can't recall the rear tread pattern.
go for the 414 compound, really are like glue.

Dennis Trollope Racing out of Bristol area, good prices.

Re: Wets

Have to agree with Adam, tried the Michelin wets at Brands recently and rolling into and out of corners seemed 'notchy' and unsmooth so changed to the Dunlops on recommend from Alan Russell at A & R (good supplier) and there was definite grip and feel improvement. The radial like tread patterns deal with the water well whilst also providing smooth grip. The wear rate is also good apparently.

Are u ebay listing or listing on the forum. I could do with a set of dry scrubs as I've shafted the Dragon Supercorsas at Donnington and Im only going to buy new when I go to Almeria next year.

Forum first, then Ebay if they don't all go. Photographing them all now. There's quite a few :)

Re: Wets

Please excuse me if this is a really stupid question... but I'm looking at getting the Dunlops for next year as they are a bit cheaper. I only seem to be able to find a 165/55 rear? Is this OK to use? Can anyone shed some light on the subject?

Thanks in advance!

Re: Wets

Thanks for reply, these sizes are for their wets. Found them to be cheaper than Pirellis I used before!
