My SV Sports Tourer
Well after a fair bit of buying bits and pieces my bike is nearly ready to do some touring next year. All that is left is to get something done with the forks as I am sick of them clunking.

Re: My SV Sports Tourer
Now that does look the business, nice one.
What saddle have you used? Are you planning on throw over luggage or hard boxes bolted on? Have fun and enjoy the miles. |
Re: My SV Sports Tourer
Not sure about luggage yet. Really want Givi but it is uber expense.
The saddle is a rework OEM saddle. It was raised an inch and gel pads inserted in it. I can sit on it all day long now. |

Looks good.

That is looking really tidy. I love those cans
Don't think for one minute that you're ever finished though ;) |
Re: My SV Sports Tourer
Looks tidy. Is your clutch comfy? Looks like it is stuck out a mile!

Re: My SV Sports Tourer
Must be the angle of the photo, because it is fine. Does look a bit wierd though.

Re: My SV Sports Tourer
Dan, the givi boxes come in 2 types, monolock and monokey, can't remember which is cheapest but I got a brand new 46L one with mount plate for £90 and it's brilliant, can get shed loads of stuff in it.
I personally would always choose hard luggage, it's easy and more robust IMO . |
Re: My SV Sports Tourer
Good job.:)
What are those things called on your heel plates? and how much were they? |
Re: My SV Sports Tourer
Just stick on covers from Banditmania. They are heavy duty gel filled. Look really good and super hard wearing.
