Automatic Garage Door Sticking
We've got an automatic garage door with a remote, but it keeps getting stuck about a foot off the floor when it's closing. So you have to open then close it again.
It says on the sliders not to grease the tracks. So how do you make it run smoother without sticking? |

Re: Automatic Garage Door Sticking
Make sure the tracks are clean, i think if you grease them the crap tends to stick to the grease and make it worse.
If you do have oil them use silicone spray or something, be very suprised if a little stickyness on the rollers would stop an auto door, probably another problem. |

Re: Automatic Garage Door Sticking
Is it belt or chain?
Inspect the condition of the drive itself, could be there is something on the drive belt / chain / sprocket at that precise place on the cycle. If the tracks re clean and moving freely then it has to be something on the drive mechanism. |
