Gsxr 1000 u2 forks on k3 650 advice needed
I'm looking to fit these forks but can't find any info on these forks going on a 650 pointy.
Do I need different yokes or bearings? How much shorter are the forks? And what clip ons do I need to clear the fairing? |

Not really, more hassle than it's worth.

Just seen eBay listings is the tl clip ons are 52mm yet I was led to believe the gsxr 1000 k2 are 50mm?

Re: Gsxr 1000 u2 forks on k3 650 advice needed
you will need the complete front end. i have done exactly the same front end on my last bike.
the sv yokes wont fit, the sv front wheel wont fit unless you make a set of bushes, the sv mudguard wont fit. would i use those forks again? NO. why? as the gold coating wears off rather quickly. they are a pain to get spares as the callipers are saught after (as they need constant attention unless you get the 4 pots). forks are roughly 20mm shorter including the 6mm threw the top yoke. plus point, they do look the dogs doodaz. |

Cheers are the forks 50 or 52mm as in looking for a set of clip ons.
What sort of rise do I need to clear the fairing |
