eBay - revising listings

My dad has put his '73 Fender Rhodes piano on eBay (Link in case your interested!

But hadn't put a reserve or buy it now on and is worried that he'll not get enough for it (vs. what it's worth to him). It really is in good nick and compared to the other ones on eBay, a bargain at the moment. Is there a way you can add a reserve / buy it now once there are bids on the item?

thanks for the quick reply barwel.

I've found you can still cancel a listing on the basis the reserve set was incorrectly though. He mentioned he couldn't find the reserve box and didn't want a buy it now so just stuck it on at 99p.

Worst case scenario I'll tell him to do that if he's not happy his reserve would have been met. Love how you can get a quick reply on just about anything on here!

I'd cancel it now before too many folk get excited. No one's lost any money or won something that they hadn't actually won.

Your Dad's Ebay scoring won't be affected either

If they're that keen on it they'll bid, but there's a lot of vultures looking for a bargain

Do you know anyone else with an eBay account who might put in an offer for it ;)

Went for £990 in the end so he's pretty happy. These things are rare as hens teeth (made in 1973) and if you're an audiophile (which I'm not) they make a very distinct & individual sound.

Worth a lot more than £990 but a sign of the times, other people have put some up cheaper now.
