Attempted theft - ignition barrel damaged
 

Some little scroat tried stealing my bike at the weekend by ramming a screwdriver down the ignition. The key doesn't fit now.

Anyone know how much a new ignition barrel costs? Or have a spare one?

I called my local garage to query this. The fella said he would only be able to order a genuine replacement and he'd need the number off the frame of my bike. He quoted £146.

Does this sound about right?

Looks like curvy so should fit your bike.

Looks expensive although should be ok.

thats not expensive for a complete lockset mate

But its just one key and doesn't lock like genuine key either.
