Gsr 600?
 

Anyone tried the new GSR 600 ?
Looking to sell/px my sv and tempted by a GSR.
Am i correct in thinking they are £5k-£6k new ?

Been out at least 3 years the 600. Look nice though, not much help though sorry :D

Edit - Quick look on BikeTrader suggests first registered bikes were 2006 on '06' plates. Theres some mint low mileage ones for less than £4k. e.g 59 plate at Yamaha dealer near Manchester with 2000 miles for £3,999. There's brand new 60 regs for £4,700.

Owned a GSR for 2 years now and still love it. Its a great little engine needs to be revved obviously 14k redline but oh so willing. Has a decent midrange overtakes are easy enough. Its often compared to a Bandit but its a different animal (I also have a Bandit 600) much much quicker and better handling.

Brakes and suspension are good enough as standard but not amazing much better than the Bandit/SV. I find it really comfy to ride being quite upright but still slightly tipped forward makes it easy to throw it through the corners.
Imo its a great little bike which has been overlooked by the majority.
