Seat Cowl & bike info Req!

I recently passed my test and bought a 2005 SV 650 S in candy blue and need a seat cowl and any other tips on how to tune up and update the bike and information given will help.

Cheers,

Nate

"tune up"

dont bother with engine mods, unless you want to spend £££

suspension is the way to go with the sv any thing and every thing you can use to get the suspension better is a huge step up on the sv pogo sticks.

i recommend a gsxr front end swap and a rear shock

You might want to join this thread as you're not alone in needing a Candy Blue seat cowl :)

As barwel1992 said, suspension seems a better place to spend your money however a nice Beowulf (or similar) exhaust might be a good place to start. Alternatively just enjoy riding it and leave the mods for later.

no sorry i got my seat cowl off ebay after a destroyed my other one (both silver)

and ahh ok well for now suspension will be fine, when you start pushing it a bit you will find the only "problem" with the sv and that is the suspension.

i would say change the exhaust if its the standard as the stock one weighs a ton and sound pants, a nice beowolf or similar slip on would work well

Try the "wanted" section for the bits you are after and there is a "tuning and tweaking" section for the other info you are after.
Unless you are looking to sell it of course.

There's 19775 threads in SV Talk, Tuning & Tweaking most of which are about ' tuning up ' SVs - have a thumb through them?
