Can a sv1000 swingarm be fitted to a 650? If not then why not? Thanks for any help you can give guys and gals!

Re: Swingarm conversion!
seems to be a common swap over on svrider. but from what i have read involves a fair bit of work. anything can be done if you have the tools and ability.

Re: Swingarm conversion!
Spooky! I ws going to post along quite similar lines but about the GRXR600 swing arm. I offered it up today and there's only 2mm difference in the width of the mounting points. Which is actually the width of the cups on the SV swing arm! :) You'd need to take out the pivot slightly but it should fit.
I've yep to have a play with the shock mount points but I recon its not that big a job fron first apperances. Easy 180 rear wheel conversion? More when I've had a play. C |
Re: Swingarm conversion!
should be possible to take that little extra out from each side to make it fit. Let me know how you get on because its another good option and probably cheaper swingarm.
