Not ridden since Oct not missing it.

Ok you lot, I need some help / advice here.
Last time I went on a ride on my bike was 31 Oct, ok it was a shyt day (rain).
BUT I got wet, really wet, rain soaked me totally, nothing strange, been wet before, but this time it put me off, the whole thing ……..riding……I do miss it. But every time I start the bike I just DON’T want to take it out for a ride…
Anyone else felt this way. …or should I just wait till it’s nice and sunny.

Not ridden for a couple of weeks now. I get grumpy. Just a commute ride gives me a buzz.

Not ridden since October either. Now the roads are clearing up a little I might take it for a blast though. :D.

Right Tony. Here it is, just to help you out, I will take the bike away from you for an indeffinate period. While you have no access to the bike you can see if it really is missed. I will ride it for you and give you regular updates on how it is doing. Remember though, I wouldn't do this for just anybody. You are very lucky that I am willing to deprive you of your bike to help you decide where you want to go....

Me neither. Maybe wait until a nice sunny day and you'll feel inspired. Or come along on our trip in Feb/March - it'll make you want to ride!

I did 200 miles in the last two days, really wish that I had left the bike in the garage and stayed in bed. Slipped on ice in a car park, got hooted at for taking it steady over an icy road, span the back wheel at a junction, witnessed a nasty collision and got me and the bike sprayed with road salt and filth that took two hours to wash off the bike today.

I have been riding because I have to, I would prefer to wait for the warm spring weather and enjoy riding again, at the moment it is just painful and worrying. Put your bike to bed, wake it up in the spring and enjoy a nice warm dry ride in the sun, there is no shame in that, despite what some folks might say.

Same here. :smt092

Having a car would make my job so much easier, but I am still only a learner driver and when my other half has tried to teach me to drive, it has been difficult for us both.
