Fitted my scorpion to my DRZ

The bargain Scorpion can i got from the MSB auction was fitted to my DRZ yesterday, here's a few pics.

Luckily, the stock pipe expanded before joining the stock can so wasnt a million miles away, actually it was 3mm bigger than the scorpion.
So cut this off...

I got a link pipe from merlin motorsport, 30° link 2.25 inch, first plan was to splay the end a bit more so got my burner out the van, found a bit of crap from the garage that happened to be 60mm the same as pipe on bike and set about heating it up and paling this 'former' down the end to widen it, was working but then decided to cut off splayed end on link pipe and fit it inside stock pipe.
Had to cut some slots in stock pipe, but after putting some exhaust paste in the joint and clamping the crap out it, worked brilliantly with no leaks.

When i first tried it i thought, bloody hell thats quiet, id left the blue rag inside the pipe that was supposed to stop any filings going down the pipe (you can it see it first pic) i had to poke it out of the new can ;)

Couldnt wait to hear it so rigged it up temporary.

The finished article, do need the next size up hanger though as had to take rubber off to get it to fit. I also need another band clamp as the stupid shop by me didnt have any.

Does sound good, does pop a bit on over run, so may need to have the carb fiddled with slightly.
It dont like the baffle out, really pops and bangs :)
