Chain Riveter thingy
Short notice, I know, but does anyone have a change riveter that I can borrow over the weekend?
A friend is servicing my bike on Sunday*, and my much needed new sprocket/chain is ready to go on...but he's lent out his chain riveter :smt021 I can collect it on Saturday night at the Xmas Do...and have it back to you a couple of days later. Ta muchly in advance... Jo * For those that have seen the state of my bike, try not to be too traumatised by that statement. |
Re: Chain Riveter thingy
You're welcome to borrow mine providing you remember the important bit:
Grind the head off the old rivet before you try to push it out, otherwise you'll snap the pin. Keith. |

I will indeed make sure we don't break it...if we do, then I'll replace it. Are you able to bring it along with you on Saturday? Ta Jo |
