Was online and trying to purchase tickets for the Northampton v Harliquinns game in new years day, upon clicking on the weblage I was promptly 'put on hold'.
And said it would refresh the page after I waited in a queue for 30seconds.
New one on me that. Virtual queuing for a website.

Ticketmaster run that kind of system, so for popular events you end up 'queueing' for quite a while. Think I queued for 25 minutes t get tickets for The Police gig in Cardiff a couple of years back.

Hopefully it wasn't so they could put you on hold to access all your personal data and put a quick ebay type sale to the highest bidder for all your details!!!!

well you surely cant say its irrespective of being a rugby fan, because you ARE a rugby fan so surely that negates that statement?

dont get me wrong, i enjoy footy more than rugby and i agree with the statement of them being overpaid but thats not their fault is it? supply and demand and all that...just playing advocate of the devilish variety here
