Lose an iphone3 and home insurance gives you an iphone4
 

Works out well, my iphone got nicked a month ago, claimed through home insurance and as they can't get hold of a new iphone 3gs, they're just gonna have to go and give me an iphone 4:D!

Although yesterday, came back with the family from a 12day xmas getaway to South Africa, returning to a flooded house, and torn kitchen celing/trashed kitchen/ruined floors cos water froze up in the cold pipes whilst we were away, burst a pipe and trashed crud loadsa stuff.

We're gonna be going back to the home insurers for a lot more than an iphone this time around.

Hopefully your house insurance does not include the now common clause that you must turn the water off if house unoccupied for 5 days or more
