Oil level advice

Last month I changed oil in my SV650 and riding it whole time until I stopped for a quick maintenance check. The oil level is right at the F line, but the manual says it should be between the L and F. Is it safe to ride my SV650 at this point? Are there any chances of engine damage? Does anyone ride their SV650 with oil filled to the F line?

Thanks in advance for your inputs.

you'll be ok-just ride it like a looney for a few miles and burn some oil

Yep mines always closer to F than L.

If your concerned go absolutely tonto for a few miles.

If its above the F line you'll start running into some problems and below L the engine will go 'Bang!'

As others, I wouldnt really worry about it. It'll burn off on its own anyway. Common issues with overfilling oil is "dodgy" gear changes but if you've no issues, then leave it alone ;)

Up to and including at the 'F' line is fine.

The ideal time to check is when the oil is warmed up, stop it and allow to stand for a minute or 2, and check with the bike held upright, not leaning on the side-stand.
