castrol power1 racing
 

Hi, im just looking at buying oil for the season.
Has anyone ran castrol power 1 racing oil? How was it?
I only ask as it is fully synthetic and i know this can make clutches slip on some bikes.
Or would i be better getting power 1 gps?

I use Rockoil fully synth without an issue with clutches but I also run EBC springs which are stronger than normal.

Hi Carl,

I used it in both the Supersport 600 and the SV and its fine. I changed it every weekends racing on the 600 but every second on the SV. And thaty was probably excesive.

I used to use it in the CBR, I used to use rockoil too. I always felt it ran better/quiter on the Castrol.

I used it in my first season racing, changed every other meeting with no problems, only reason I changed is I got a deal on 25l drums of motul 5000 semi synthetic which I change every meeting.
