Pointy lower fairings fitting
A friend has bought a second hand (but unused) set of lower fairings for his 2007 SV.
They came with an incomplete fitting kit, and a couple of bit’s that aren’t shown on the contents picture of the instructions. The bits not shown on the instructions are the 2 brackets, which I think attach to the radiator. Anyone have a picture of how the fitting kit fits under the fairing, or can say what bits are missing. Re: Pointy lower fairings fitting
This is one of mine (2005 K5). I'm pretty sure the K5+ share the same radiator so will use the same mounting brackets, but the K3/K4 have a wider radiator so don't use/need them. Don't take that as fact, just something I recall reading. Anyway, pictures...

Re: Pointy lower fairings fitting
there are a lot of parts missing from that kit.
faring bolts and spacers radiator u brackets like above (there are 2 types on for K3 and one for K3>) bottom to frame/engine brackets main bracket bolts to hold the large discs in place side to side fitting bridge (black plastic part with 4 holes) plastic pop rivets. what you dont need are the funny looking brackets in the picture as they are for the nosecone and your bike will already have them. |
