Fairing repairs

Some of you will remember that I came off last year. I bought a new fairing on ebay, but it doesn't match, and I'd like to get the damaged one repaired. Here are a few pics of it, the damage is not great and I'm certain that it could be fixed. Photos don't show it that well, I think.

Quezzies:

1. How much?
2. Can peeps please recommend somewhere that could do a really good job, especially in sorting the decals?

Thanks as ever.

Ed it's repairable, just requires a sand and fill to smooth the scratches.

Cost £300 tops, I'll pass on a guy local to you as the the guy I've used in based at Seaham. I'd speak to your local dealer they will have a guy they use for insurance repairs

I'd give them the bike so to perfectly colour match the panel.

The guy who did my SV respray is called Rich, 07960379869.

I chose him after I saw a repair he did on a Gixer rear cowl, the one with the matt paint and gloss on the same piecce. One side was shattered, repaired and sprayed. I couldn't see any difference between them.

I'm sure you can get a quote from an e-mail with those pics.

I'll happily meet half way if you go ahead to collect them from you for a bottle of your home-brew!

Pete ;)

Yep...Carlos is right. PSG nr. me is highly recommended.

I took my SV fairings there after my smash, I was going to chuck them 'cos they were literally in bits, however he fixed them to the point where they looked brand new. He was doing the bodywork for one of the BSB lads as well.

Paul's a great lad and I'm sure would be happy to sort them out.

I thought you had a new silver fairing?

Would you not be better off just buying the graphics from Triumph?

Re: Fairing repairs

Hmm. Seems the cheapest option is buying a new panel - £275.22 + VAT from Triumph:(:( Plus £30 for the top decal. They don't do spares for the Masterbike decals so I'm having a graphics shop imitate them for me.

I have a few spares, all scratched (bought that way I would add!!!) and I'll shove the lot on ebay soon.

Plus, the tail piece - I bought a new one on ebay for £47, not worth repairing the original, so also going on the bay shortly.

Ed, surely it must be cgheaper to spray your old panel than buy a brand new one?
