Looks like me and a couple of mates will be doing this. Anyone else fancy it?

Ahhh...I'm bound to fall off then!

It's unusual for Oulton to have a weekend day, so we're hoping to get on and have some decent weather.

Don't forget the 105db rule. They stopped me from doing my last one, the FZR was too loud lol

It's a 102db static test at Oulton now, last year was 105db but it's been lowered.

I got mine checked and it was showing 100db. If I had a baffle I'd put it in... but I don't!

I'll be booking into the 'Novice' group when I get home, will see you there for my first track day :D

(said I'd do some last year but never got round it, but going for it this year)

Im itching to do a track day here after watching the BSB last year, and I have had a awesome xmas present :):smt023 to use with MSV for track time

A few of us have spoken about doing oulton later this year, but getting some practice in would be good.

Will see how full the groups and the what the weather like near to the time. But like Mr C may just turn to play with my camera anyhows.

last track day was Mallory in the autumn.

Oooh eck, don't know if mine goes that low ;) Looks like it will be cameras at the ready.
I do need to get a bit of track time in this year

Oulton is a good track as a first trackday and its fairly easy to learn and gets more difficult that faster you go. Shell is fun, deersleap is great too as the front wheel goes up on the SV, Top of Clay Hill is a bit scary as front wheel lifts again and you drift over to the far side on the track. SV lifts it wheel after druids as it skips over the dips.

If there was only 1 track in the world I could ride, it would be Oulton. It's got everything you could ask, it's ace :)
Chris, you will love it. Ask for an instructor to go round with you, you will be surprised how much you can learn from them. It's free as well :)

IMO Anglesea Coastal beats it puts its deffo up there.
