I used to see a blue curvy with a high level can daily coming from that direction across to cadbury.
Had posted it on here a few times but I don't think he's on here.

Why not start a "Spotted" thread?

I have often wandered who all the loons are. I am usually on my mountain bike weaving in amongst it all!!! :-D

But have no fear, I always do my lifesavers to ensure that I don't go down the middle of the traffic without checking first if a biker is coming my way.

well i usally use the scooter for work as i only live 3 miles from work so pointless starting her up to roll a couple of miles barely warming her through,
i nearly had a cyclist the other day he wasnt paying a blind bit of notice.

spotted thread could be an idea.

cheers
Ben

Hagley Road - aaarrrrgggghhhhh

I occasionally have to get into Brum, I'd far rather get the train.

Wasted large portions of my life crawling up and down that bloody road for 6 years. When I first worked in Brum I was living in a hotel on Hagley Road and had to turn right across the road every morning in rush hour to head into town.

I quickly worked out you need to take it one lane at a time and adopt your best "I can't see you and I can't hear your horn" expression.

yea hagley road is an awful road but its easiest way for me to get into work as i live just off it, theres a couple of other routes but there no fun in traffic.
on a scooter its not too bad as its small an light so flicks through traffic.
i never bother turning across it as its a silly idea any time of day.
Cheers
Ben

Quinton eh? I rented a couple of houses there. The first was in High Street (handy for the Kings Highway pub:eye:) and then Nailers Close down towards Bartley Green when I was regularly found in that boozer at the roundabout on Spies Lane - Royal Oak?

Ah, the drinking years. Happy days.:)
