Another update on Chris8886
 

They are going to try and get Chris up and about into a wheelchair tomorrow - I hope it's got crash bungs - but as he is still running a slightly higher than normal temperature he may have to spend a bit more time on the special ward.

He had lost all memory of England winning the Ashes but at least he knows where he is now.

His mum said he's been eating a lot - no surprise there then - back to the old Chris.

And the best news of all - it's his Dad's ipod - not his own! Although he was caught singing along to Bryan Adams and Nickleback today.

Well they are obviously doing something right as his taste in music has got marginally better. Seems there is still a long way to go though. :)

Chris has now been moved into a room on the regular ward. He's apparently lucid and coherent - so I'm still not convinced that it's actually Chris8886 that they've got and not a Phil Collins/Bryan Adams loving imposter.

Longer update from his mum is expected tomorrow. I'm trying to get his two mates to give him mushrooms and then convince him that they were his favourite food before his collapse as I know he hates them. They said that every day they've told him we won the Ashes and every day he's forgotten so he's hearing the good news for the first time. Maybe we could also tell him he's in a civil partnership with Monkey and we all went to the ceremony.
