Some years back my wife and I lost a baby late in pregnancy and, due to complications, Mrs T was told she wouldn't be able to have any more children.

A couple of months back, she was suffering from "ladies problems" and was actually googling for information on early menopause.

To cut a long story short we were at the maternity hospital today for a 12 week scan where I was introduced to the latest little drain on my resources. :D

I'm just getting used to the idea - I thought we were past all that. I have visions of a future where a teacher says "here's your grandad come to pick you up" FFS. :smt021

All being well, the baby's due at the start of August. That'll be my AR permissions withdrawn.

nice one mate-the gift of life is the most precious thing out there-the pain that you both endured due to the loss a while ago will never leave but things like your news will go someway to easing the pain.

Congratulations mate.

My daughter is disgusted when people assume that she is my sister or other half, there's less than 20 yrs between us and I don't look anywhere near my age... but she does look hers. I keep threatening to get some random woman pregnant after she's had a child, just to p1ss her off.
