Complete Service in progress... :-P

Well now I have a large garage it is perfect for all my goodies and also for working on the bike and being able to walk away from it and come back another day to finish it off. :-)

So I have decided its time to change; Oil, Spark Plugs and Coolant.

So all well so far, except I have misplaced my Oil Filter I have bought, lol. And to add to that I've lost my Oil Filter Removal Wrench, ha!

So apart from that all going well...

Out of interest, when doing the coolant, does everyone flush the coolant system before refilling it with nice new coolant?

Any other tips or suggestions of things to do or check?

Good morning dear Boy!

I hope you're enjoying life oop north.

I can't remember whether we changed your coolant when your bike was in with us, but as you bike's pretty new I wouldn't worry about flushing the coolant system.

Cheers.

How the devil are you? :-)
Are you moving back oop north too anytime soon? (Crossing my fingers)

Yeah I think you did, I know I probably didn't need to change the coolant but its an easy enough job to just swap it over, especially after all the cold weather. :-)

You can always use a screwdriver punched through from side to side of the very end the filter to use to turn it. Has to be near the end so you don't hit the threaded post that it screws onto.
