creased dent in petrol tank

1 Attachment(s)
When i dropped my bike a few weeks ago, the left handlebar was forced into the LHS of the tank. This has left me with a lovely double (creased) dent (in the shape of the bar-end) with broken paint as well! It looks like my options are fairly limited (unless i want to spend a small fortune on a new tank!). However, i have come across a device called a dingking (which can be had from Amazon for just over 12£). I know it works best with standard (uncreased) dents, but does anyone have any thoughts on how it may perform on my dent (see below pic)? I realise it'll be almost impossible to remove completely, but i'll be happy if i can just make it 'liveable with'. All other suggestions welcome too!

tbh with you best plan of action is to fill it and paint it will be hard to get that out

Ok, thanks. Would it be best to try to get it out a bit first before filling, or just fill? Also, what type of filler should i use? Never done it before, so have no idea!

Once filled, how should i paint it? Repainting the whole tank is not an option (as too complicated) :( so i would need an easier solution that, whilst not perfect, would still look ok.

See if you can get a tank from another bike.

That looks like a pig to fill

Link you will have to weld a stud and slide hammer that out before filling and painting looks too big just to fill.

Easy, fill tank with frozen peas, top up with boiling water and then seal tank, the expanding peas will pop the dent out. Rinse the tank and fit back on the bike... These works 2 out of the 3 times we've tried it.
