i agree, that is out of order, it is general courtesy to al least phone, but really should have been done face to face,

But again as has already been said, at the very least you have a good amount of notice.

It's not unexpected, the true surprise is that it has lasted this long. But change is opportunity, I firmly believe that, so I'm not too downcast about it.
