looks like taking a train from Den Bosch in Holland and getting off in Livornia Italy 12-1500km - I was calculating maybe 5 or six tanks of fuel? £150? maybe 2 nights accommodation £80 unless you just keep riding till yer bum falls off.
How much did it come to when you looked at it?

I quoted a long while back for the french motorail (autorail) and it was mega expensive just to go from north of france to the south.

I imagine you won't be getting any direct trains so you won't be saving a massive amount of time - I'd be tempted just to ride there on main roads, then take your time coming back.

It was France that I priced for. There's a price list here http://www.railsavers.com/prices.html
