Scorpion Can - is rejetting needed?/other exhaust questions.
Hi all,
Thought i'd better introduce myself plus i have a few q's. I've just bought a 2000 sv650 nak'd as my first bike which i'm very excited about. It has a scorpian slip on can on it. Because im incredibly curious and want everything to be perfect.... Will the bike need re-jetting? Apart from sound will it make a difference when removing the baffle? eg make it more lean? Or is the rule-change a filter and can together and then it needs re-jetting? I apologise as i can imagine this subject comes up a lot :) Hope this makes sense..... Si |

A slip-on will be fine with stock jetting. It is only really if fitting a full system that you might consider getting it down the dyno!

^^wot ee said^^ scorpion have always stated their cans didn't need rejetting. Mine never has and its been there a feckin long time ;)
Standard air filter. And no, removing the baffle only releases the noise, doesn't do anything other than that. |
