ZX10R 06-07 Shock rebuild?

I've got a ZX10R shock convertion on my pointy and I'm planning to do some serious rear end servicing pretty soon after such a crap winter.

Anyone got any idea if these can be serviced and if so... got a manual?

I know them lads are good from what I've read here but I would like to tackle it myself if possible.
I've googled to beat the band and cant find any "instruction" to this shock.

I'm in Ireland too so by the time i ship it to and from, wouldnt be worth it.

Yes can be serviced, you need spring compressor of some description, tools to refill with nitrogen and some other bits and bobs.

Dont suppose you want to write me a how to...?

I have access to spring compressor and nitrogen refill but not sure if I want to start without instruction.

Also, is there any point modding the valving?

Bare in mind that I'm doing most of this cause I like taking stuff apart and back together rather than looking to improve bike performance. Although it would be nice to try lots of stuff and see what the effects are.

Well considering the valving, are the adjusters of good enough design to give you a decent shock in the end when you take a long time to get the valving as good as you can?

Considering I don't think those have rebound separator valve in shaft and comp adjuster is simple needle type with no blow off (I could be wrong on those points), would you be better off buying a secondhand aftermarket shock and playing with that?

If you just want to play, then yeah fire in.

Even second hand aftermarket is too rich for me :-)

Answer me two things...
Where do I start with dismantle and is the silver cap on the resevoir actually a silver cap that pops off?

What sort of pressure is the nitrogen at in typical OEM shocks when fully extended - ridiculous levels?

at a guess 20bar

the race shocks we run on the race cars (single seater 500kg 4x shocks) run about 30-50bar these are like bike dampers piggy back style sachas ones
