K3 Engine fix - Rotor removal
 
Ok, i will attempt to do this at some point this week so keep your eyes on this thread!

Thanks to all the advice so far about the right tools to use as progress through this, i though i would post a nice pick of the removal 'bolt' i picked up off ebay!

If it's the one from Boltmeup I used the same thing last week. I found it a wee bit long but it worked ok.

Yup, got it from boltmeup! - they were selling em in pairs so i have 2!

I take it the rotor holding bolt is threaded 'normally' and is taken off anti clockwise ?

Yes normal thread. Opposite end of crank (primary drive gear end) is a LH thread.

I suppose both bolts at either side have to unscrew in the same direction (if you know what i mean!)
