Bike not running properly.

Took the bike to work today, Seemed like there was very little power when I twisted the throttle.

So a couple of things I have added since last run out.

Heated Grips

Air Horn.

Seemed like there wasnt enough petrol or something getting to the engine. Sounded different too, A bit Rattley from the exhaust

When I fitted the air horn I removed the air box, I thought that this hadnt been fitted properly after I had routed the tube for the horn, So I took it off again, took air filter out and made sure this time it was fitted properly.

So I took it out for a run again and it seems like nothing has changed,
If I change down a gear to turn into a side road the bike will stall, if I rev between gear change its ok. Never had to do this before.

Before fitting the horn I removed the left hand control switches, to see what colour wires controled the horn, the choke was disconnected here also, saying that everything was put back together how it should be,

I thought that the tube for the horn and the wiring for the heated grips might be squashing the fuel tube from the tank, I think this is ok though I checked it twice.

Also since my bike doesnt get out much the front wheel tends to cease up, I noticed it was the left hand front brake caliper sticking, after a short run it frees up,

could this be why the bike stalls
Im scratching my head now I dont no what to do.

Cheers Mark

Re: Bike not running properly.

I took off the front left caliper that was sticking, Turned up the Idle screw a little bit, and reved the bike a few times, after doing this there were a few loud bangs from the cans, I then took the bike for another short spin and hey presto its sorted, Must have been damp in the engine, getting there through the cans, Ill know to seal them next time she is off the road.
