Hand Guards, pics and recommendations?

Hi,

I'm looking to buy a pair of good quality hand guards for my SV650S K3, can anybody recommend any?
And does anyone have any picks of an SV with hand guards just so i know what it would look like.

Ta

I've got barkbusters, they're a little small for weather protection compared to the DL650 Vstrom ones which you can fit, but they do give excellent protection to the levers etc. which the plastic ones don't.

Cheers Chris,

Is there a particular year of DL650 VStrom that i would need to be looking at? and they would defo fit the pointy?

They DL650 guards fit pointys. Is yours faired or naked?
Here is a pic of my SV:

They fit on fine, and only catch the fairing when on full left lock (right guard hits fairing)

Hi,
Mine is the same as your's but without the lowers, would that be classed as naked? They don't look too bad, will get on ebay and see what i can find.

Cheers for that.

FYI Any pointy with top fairing is an SV650S, the naked SV650 has no fairing at all, single round light and handlebars not clipons. Lowers are just an extra fitted to some SV650S.

Those DL650 guards are not too expensive from dealers.
