Pointy front calipers fit Curvy?
 

Hi guys, will the front calipers from a k3 fit straight on to a k1?

I think the front calipers are one of the very few parts interchangable between curvy and pointy.So Id say yes.

I can confirm that this will be fine. Done it a few times.

Whats worng with your old callipers?

Can K3/4/5.. calipers be used on a 2000 naked SV?
 

Hi guys, I'm a newby that's just bought myself a lovely 2000 reg naked SV650 but I'm having problems removing the pins to replace the (badly worn) pads. Does anyone know if the 2nd generation SV's callipers will fit on to my 1st gen bike?

Thanks so much, it's the fronts that I'm having the issues with. Is there any difference whatsoever or are they exactly the same unit?

think they are the same apart from the pointy sv ones say the brand on the out side

Same thing, so is kawasaki en650.

Dont some of the bandit 600's use the same front calipers as well?

I think so, probably gladius also. I have not tried those, only sv's and kawi and those in fact are same.
