Renthal Ultra Lows, benefits?
Is it really worth me getting them other than aesthetics & will I notice much of a change in position?
I have a naked 05 SV :) |
Re: Renthal Ultra Lows
depends what you want i use the streetfighter bars with brace
|
Re: Renthal Ultra Lows
Well I want the bars to be lower without going for the ugly flats... Will it actually be noticably different or just quite subtle?
|
Re: Renthal Ultra Lows
they will feel a lot wider, thats the main advantage height im not to sure but the wider the bar the wider apart your arms are so thus lowers your body position any way so it should be quite noticeable

Re: Renthal Ultra Lows
With bar end mirrors are they then going to be too wide to be practical?
|
Re: Renthal Ultra Lows
hmm some times it can be a bit to wide but mine are really wide, i have only ever hit 2 mirrors with my mirrors the first was not my fault and the second was
this might give you an idea of the width http://i357.photobucket.com/albums/o...2/P1040666.jpg |
Re: Renthal Ultra Lows
I suppose generally I don't do much filtering so it shouldn't be a problem.
What made you want to go for the high bars? |
Re: Renthal Ultra Lows
well they came on the bike after i destroyed the first set i decided i liked them so went with them again but now i could't go any lower after what i have done to the bike
basically my bike sits nose heavy 35mm raise at the rear with a 25mm drop at the front and the k3 higher sub frame, so i already sit nose down **** up if the bars were lower i think id find it uncomfortable |
Re: Renthal Ultra Lows
i got a set of black Ultra Lows for sale reeder, yes they feel much better than standard bars more natural position .
|
Re: Renthal Ultra Lows
But you'd probably sell them to someone else and forget I wanted some wouldnt you hindle!!!!
