Maybe but i'm sure if each local MP gets 50 email then it must at least bring it to their attention and then they are failing in their duties to serve the people that they represent.

Even if 99% of the MP's bin them what have you got to loose it takes less than 2 mins of your time

The flip side of this is that people moan about the government saying they never listen, but these are the same people that never even contact their local MP

What...AGAIN! Looks its never going to work...ever. No its not defeatist, just plain pointless.

The SUN and all the other rags got over half a million signatures and they still wouldn't budge. Its easy money a waste of time.

Fair Fuel UK also are the kind of company/website to sell on your email details to 3rd parties...

Thats the issue with society today only half a million people responded, so the government can say only 1% of people complain etc, if the other 60 million people bothered to raise their concerns then maybe we would get somewhere.

In the time it took you to type that reply, maybe you could of signed up, you say that signing the petition is pointless could you please let me know what your response has achieved?

If people can take their fat lazy kids a 2 mile ride to school, then sit outside at tea time with the engine idling waiting for them to come out again, then its not expensive enough yet.

Sooo pointless... how many have these been done in the past.

The petition with 100,000+ signitures didn't even get the fuel duty increase stopped.

Response from my MP,
Im pretty sure, that she wont do much about it however can you imagine if her email inbox had 10,000 emails in it, I am pretty sure she would announce her opinions in public

===================
Dear Anthony,

Thank you for your email and bringing this issue to my attention.

I wholly support this campaign and have responded to a letter from their campaign team,
in order to pledge my support. I am happy to use the email address you have provided to

Again 100,000 signatures, so the government can just say only 1 in 200 drivers has an issue with current fuel prices, again as a society people CBA to spend 2 mins to fill a simple form in, so the true picture is never presented

Again what have to got to lose if you do fill it in?
