Dizzyblondes Black SV SOLD
Yup.....Dave the SV needs to go. I don't really have the need for three bikes and I need to get Suzy back on the road, as well as the VRap.
Dave the SV has been run recently, tickety boo, after a long stint of maternity. Might need a slight clean, but will be shiny shiny ship shape for the new owner, as that downpipe isn't to shiny due to winter riding ;) 2000, W reg Curvy S. Around 34k on the clock, valves check done at 28k HIGHER GEARED, so one tooth up on front from standard 'S' specs. Perfect if you do very long commutes. Over the four years I have had it, YC has serviced brakes, changed oil, changed rear shocks, serviced forks, swapped reg/reg and generally fettled it whenever required. This is in no way a dealers 'to the book' service record, but work has been carried out. MOT until 20th Aug 2011 SORN'd for now but will put six months tax on for new owner. New battery Hel black braided hoses on the front Stealth Wavey disks Replacement OEM shock Ohlins linear fork springs Powdercoated rear subframe Black OEM seat cowl Suzuki OEM gel seat (both pilot and rear seats available) Scorpion very high level, slightly stubbied can(baffle in loft, please remind me) Also rear footpegs, and spacer kit if needed. Polished rims Stainless heavy bar ends Black Tinted Double Bubble screen The tail seems to have been tidied by the previous owner. Avon Storms front and rear, good tread hardly used. Motosliders engine crash bungs and Swingarm bobbins. Fender extenda, not fitted, although there is a mod, hiding under the rad to keep the frint plug dry. Never failed yet. All previous MOTs, lots of other paperwork from previous owner too. The bad point is, that it does have a crack on the left fairing panel, which has been there for three years, I did have a minor 5mph off, which has had no detriment to the riding capacity of the bike. I have looked for a replacement but to no avail Its been ridden everywhere since. Its an honest, ten year old SV that has been pampered and looked after by myself, but has been ridden through all weather all year round in its life with me. I am starting with an asking price of £1300, I am open to reasonable, and not silly offers, so no time wasters or tyre kickers. It will be advertised on gumtree, I'd rather it be sold to some nice person here first TBH PLEASE NOTE, can I politely ask nobody ask me to sell them parts off Dave... seat cowls, gel seats and anything else stay with the bike. I do not have the time to be taking parcels off to post with a six month old child, nor do I wish to standardise Dave so his new owner has to go and buy them again. Many thanks I hope members can understand;) http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...20sale/013.jpg http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...20sale/012.jpg http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...20sale/011.jpg http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...20sale/010.jpg http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...20sale/009.jpg http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...20sale/001.jpg http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...20sale/003.jpg http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...20sale/004.jpg And yes....the crack, pretty easy fix for someone thats better at it than me, good clean straight one, its already been apoxy resined on the back, it doesn't move or make an funny vibration noises. http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...20sale/005.jpg http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...20sale/006.jpg http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...20sale/007.jpg |

Re: Dizzyblondes Black SV
yellow cleaning cloths go further if they are cut in half.....especially when you have shares in autosol ;)

I'm still alive aren't I? :pand more to the point Dave the SV survived his grubby handprints all over his shiny backside:mrgreen: Hope it does go to a good home, its had a good life here, fond memories etc, but I have a Raptor tank in need of respraying and a certain Suzy SV that needs to be ridden. Poor Dave, nobody loves him, plenty of views but no replies:( |
Re: Dizzyblondes Black SV
if I had the money, I fancy putting one beside the ST2 for some alone time, but alas all I can offer is a curly wurly and 158 yorkshire tea bags..
|
Re: Dizzyblondes Black SV
yorkshire tea is digusting, therefore I can only decline your offer....you could have swung it with a few curly wurly multipacks!! ;)
